Early Australian DPCU Trousers
Early pattern DPCU trousers. This pattern of pants were made from 1988 until replaced by the land 125 style in the mid 2000s. They have reinforced knees a single rear pocket, two waist pockets and two large cargo pockets. They are comfortable cut in a heavier fabric than the shirts so they are tough.
Price range: $20.00 through $85.00

Early Australian DPCU Trousers
Early Australian DPCU Pants: Genuine Australian Army issue and built tough. These are the early version of DPCU pants issued from the 1980s to 2005, pre-Land 125. Given the date range, there is some variation in colors between production runs. If you are chasing a specific date or detail, let me know and I will do my best to help out, but they are all a very similar pattern.
Australian sizes are in centimeters. For example, a size 95 fits a 95cm waist. You can easily convert these measurements from cm to inches.
These pants aren’t just for show – they’re practical and rugged. You’ll get multiple cargo and waist pockets, perfect for carrying gear whether you’re out bush, working, or just after that authentic military look.
We’ve got them available in different condition grades, so you can choose the option that suits you best:
-
New/Unworn: Never issued and brand new – the best you’ll find.
-
Grade A: Excellent used condition with only light wear. Still sharp and ready to go.
-
Grade B: Solid used condition. May show a bit of wear or the odd blemish, but nothing that affects use.
-
Grade C: Could be faded or need a simple fix (like a button or minor repair), but with a little TLC these still have plenty of life.
Whether you’re a collector, outdoor enthusiast, or just after a durable pair of work pants with a bit of history, the early-issue DPCU pants are a great pick. They’re tough, practical, and authentic – you won’t find better value if you want real issued gear.
These pants are starting to get a bit harder to find now, especially in larger sizes.
