Upgrade 1.18 unequal main spring for a gel blaster. The 1.18 spring is a great for nylon geared gel blasters and when combined with a good air seal can get blasters up to 280-310 FPS. The Unequal spring is more gentle on internal components and I have been using these springs for years. A great first step to upgrading a blaster is installing one of these springs combined with a green O-ring.  Always use silicone based lubricants.
